Marvin Godoy Takes on a New Role at Highland as Project Engineer

Marvin joined Highland Roofing Company as a Construction Runner in January 2026, where he supported all three of our office locations by helping distribute products produced in Highland’s ES-1 Certified metal shop, making material purchases, and coordinating deliveries to job sites based on immediate project needs.
In his new role as Project Engineer, Marvin will be based out of the Wilmington office and will continue working with the Production team in a new capacity. His responsibilities will include project coordination and documentation, including managing submittals and helping ensure materials and project information are organized and ready for production.
Marvin earned his degree in Construction Management from East Carolina University and has built on that background through both his professional and military experience. In November, he will mark 11 years of service in the National Guard, where he currently serves as a Second Lieutenant and Engineer Officer.
Known at Highland for being organized, dependable, and disciplined, Marvin has excelled in his role since joining the company. His construction background and understanding of job-site needs make the move into Project Engineer a natural next step. The transition also strengthens the connection between Highland’s internal teams, providing additional support to help keep projects organized and moving efficiently from planning through production.
Please join us in congratulating Marvin on his new role and wishing him continued success as he takes this next step with Highland!
