Having spent his formative years in Scotland, Iain emigrated in 1997 after a brief stint at Glasgow University where he met his wife and N.C. native, Rebecca. Settling in Wilmington in 2000 and after working for a local roofing contractor, Highland Roofing was established.  Over the years Iain has guided and grown the business out of the residential sector into the commercial market, including acquiring competitor Hanover Iron Works in 2014. Iain and his family reside near the water, and love living in Wilmington.

As Chief Operations Officer, Steven oversees our organization’s ongoing operations and procedures.  He has extensive experience in the sales and operations arena contributes to his ability to leverage a variety of methodologies to propel growth for the company.  Steven holds a BBA from Abilene Christian University and has received recognitions from several accredited establishments including the AACSB, NCM Institute, Dave Anderson’s Learn-to-Lead, and Summit Leadership Bootcamp. Steven and his family reside in Hampstead.

Becca oversees all financial management of the company to ensure the company’s assets and financial reporting are preserved.  She spent her childhood in Greenville and graduated UNC in 1997 with a Communications Degree.  During her junior year, she spent six months at the University of Glasgow where she met her husband.  After a few of years of extensive travel including tours of Thailand, Malaysia, New Zealand and Australia, Becca settled in Wilmington in 2000 and co-founded Highland Roofing Company in 2005. Becca enjoys spending time on the water and sand with her family.

Shari has spent 20 years as a human resources professional and has worked in a variety of industries including 10+ years in construction and manufacturing.  She earned her B.A. in Psychology from North Carolina State University and holds two HR certifications – Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).  Shari is the mother of two boys and enjoys spending her weekends fishing at the beach.  

Terry is the Controller for Highland Roofing Company and brings to the company  over 9 years of experience as a Controller & Accounting Manager.  Terry is a native to Wilmington and holds a B.S in Accounting from North Carolina Wesleyan College.  She is currently finishing her MBA from Liberty University and is a CPA candidate. She is the mother of a beautiful daughter and enjoys spending time with her daughter and making the most of her time in her wonderful hometown.

Rick has several years of experience in the management of various industry fields.  His precise organizational skills, strong time management talent, coupled with the ability to use planning and prioritization techniques make him an excellent fit for his job.  His service team consists of several of the industry’s best technicians who can handle every roof situation they encounter.   Rick is instrumental in contributing to the operational goals, personnel and vendor relations, and career development of his staff.

As Branch Manager, Ryan is responsible for developing and managing all business operations for the Myrtle Beach area.  He has spent over 10 years in the sales field with seven of those years in management roles.  Prior to joining Highland, Ryan worked with Monarch Roofing as their Steep Slope Division Manager/Sales Manager.  In his spare time Ryan enjoys going to the beach with his wife and three sons as well as training and competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. 

Craig started his career as a draft and design manager for a digital mapping company.  From there, he transitioned to the roofing industry first as a sales assistant for The Garland Company and then as an independent sales rep for roofing and waterproofing materials.  Craig obtained his B.S. in Industrial Distribution and Logistics from East Carolina University.  During his spare time, he enjoys surfing, fishing, boating, and all-around coastal living.  You’re also likely to find him taking walks down leaf covered trails.

Scott began his career in roofing over 20 years ago as a helper.  Since then, he’s worked as a Repair Foreman, Construction Superintendent, Contractor, Estimator and Area Manager for a variety of roofing companies.  He joined Highland in 2014 as our Service Manager and moved into his current position in 2015.  When he’s not assisting customers, Scott can be found working in his vegetable garden, or he and his family will be relaxing on the beach.

Craig started his career in roofing as a service technician in Pennsylvania.  From there he grew into supervisory and foreman roles with Dilk Roofing in Indiana and Simon Roofing in Ohio.  Most recently, Craig was the Sales/Service Manager for Whitco Roofing in Florida.  With almost 20 years of experience in the roofing industry, Craig has the solid experience needed to diagnose roofing issues and to provide our customers with the greatest level of service possible.  In his free time, Craig enjoys spending time at the beach with his Rhoda, son Gabriel and his mother-in-law Teofilia.

Tripp has spent over 15 years in the commercial roofing industry.  12 of those years were spent at Spann Roofing in Conway, SC where he worked as a project manager and estimator.  He then moved to Texas where he continued his role as a commercial estimator.  His extensive knowledge of the roofing industry, combined with his strengths in problem resolution, communications, and customer relations will ensure his clients receive the highest level of service.  Tripp earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Clemson University.  In his spare time, Tripp enjoys spending time with family and you'll likely find him hunting, fishing or golfing.

For the past nine years, Eric has held positions in sales and maintenance management for various landscaping companies in the Raleigh market.  He has a record of providing solutions for his clients’ needs, specifically with property managers, home owners association boards, and small business owners.  Eric looks forward to bringing that skillset to the roofing industry where he will offer the highest level of service possible to his clients.  He earned his BA degree in Communications from UNCW.  Eric is an active runner and enjoys spending his free time with his two young children.  He comes from a large family with four siblings and 45 first cousins on his father’s side of the family. 

Dominic has almost 15 years’ experience in construction management including both commercial and residential industries.  His commercial roofing experience includes several project management roles at Latite Roofing, North American Roofing, Best Roofing and Saratoga Roofing and Construction.  As a senior project manager for Highland Roofing, Dominic is responsible for total project management including controlling budgets, negotiating subcontracts, and providing day-to-day communication with our construction managers to ensure jobs remain on schedule and within budget.  Dominic is a proud father and honored to have his beautiful bride leading the way, “Family First!”  They’re often found beachside together unwinding – Wilmington is the new shoreline they’re excited to call home.

Tony’s roofing experience spans almost 30 years during which time he’s worked in foreman and superintendent positions for several roofing companies in the Wilmington area.  He joined Highland Roofing in 2015 as a Construction Manager and is responsible for overseeing roofing installation projects.  Tony is certified in the application of FiberTite, Duro-Last, Duradek, Sealoflex, HydroStop, TPO, EPDM, and BUR roofing membranes. 

Dave is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps with over 10 years of experience in construction and roofing.  He has successfully supervised new construction and re-roofing projects in both the residential and commercial sectors.  Dave will utilize his strengths in operations management, training, quality control, and customer relations to oversee production projects in his role as Construction Manager.  Dave earned his associate’s degree in construction management from Muskingum Area Technical College in Ohio.  He is a sports enthusiast who loves the outdoors and spending time with family.

Chase has been with the company since 2011 and is responsible for estimating roof replacement and coating projects.  His problem solving and analytical skills in addition to his ability to maintain relationships with general contractors, architects and customers make Chase an invaluable member of the team.  Prior to joining Highland, Chase held several positions in the construction industry including Regional VP, Project Manager and Construction Manager. Chase holds a B.S. Degree in Construction Management from East Carolina University with a minor in Business Administration.  Chase Also Holds a NC General Contractors License.

Randy’s 20+ years in the construction industry spans both the roofing and flooring businesses.  Randy owned his own business for ten years in Phoenix, AZ where he specialized in epoxy flooring, faux flagstone stone flooring and slip resistance surfaces.  He then moved to Wilmington and spent eight years as an estimator/office manager for Metalcon Inc., a metal roofing and metal wall panel company.  At Highland Roofing, Randy is responsible for estimating new construction projects.  He is also a Notary Public for New Hanover County, NC.
