I moved to North Carolina from Scotland in 1997, after meeting my wife, who was studying abroad for a semester. Becca is a graduate of UNC at Chapel Hill, and grew up in Greenville N.C.  After a couple of years moving back and forth between countries, we finally settled in Wilmington in 1999 and have never looked back. We have four year old twins and, at the time of writing, a girl on the way.

As a teenager I had helped a local slater re-roof the home I grew up in, and had enjoyed the process so much that when I arrived in the States I took a job installing residential tile and asphalt roofing shingles.  I moved into estimating and ordering, learned how to install metal roofing products and, after spending some time outside the industry, realized that I wanted to be a roofer! 

Our years in Wilmington and ties to the community inspired us to put down deeper roots and start a family based company that we hope will serve the areas residents for years to come. 

My formative years were spent in a traditional farming environment, where hard work, honesty and respect are a part of life, and those same values form the foundation upon which our company is built.   
Our employees and subcontractors share these values, and customers frequently comment on the pride that goes into our work. 

We believe in relationships, in getting to know a bit about you and your situation before we prepare a proposal, how else are we going to know what products match your needs? Don’t expect us to stop by while you’re at work and leave a quote on the doorstep.  A roof is not just a roof, there are many steps and products involved, all of which have options requiring a decision.  We want to educate you and involve you in those decisions.

 We take our responsibilities to you very seriously, aware of the significant financial commitment involved on your part. We believe that you deserve true quality and value and will do whatever it takes to deliver just that.  I am proud of the fact that so much of our work comes from referrals.  It is only through the daily implementation of these philosophies that a company can grow in reputation.
